A refreshing mint apple sauce perfect for pairing with meats or enjoying as a topping.
Ingredients

- 5 medium apples, peeled and chopped
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves, chopped
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine chopped apples and water.
- Cook over medium heat until apples are soft, about 15 minutes.
- Add sugar, mint, and lemon juice. Stir well.
- Simmer for an additional 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let cool.
- Blend the mixture until smooth, if desired.
Notes
- Adjust sugar based on apple sweetness.
- Store in the refrigerator for up to one week.
