- 1 sheet of puff pastry
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1/4 cup limoncello liqueur
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup mascarpone cheese
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- Zest of 1 lemon
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface.
- Cut the pastry into squares.
- In a bowl, mix ricotta, limoncello, powdered sugar, and lemon zest.
- Spoon the ricotta mixture onto the center of each pastry square.
- Fold the pastry over to form triangles and seal edges.
- Brush the tops with beaten egg.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly, then top with mascarpone mixed with vanilla.
Notes
- Serve warm or at room temperature.
- Can be made a day in advance.
