Description
This dish features tender meatballs in a creamy sauce, cooked quickly in an Instant Pot.

- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 pound ground pork
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 tablespoons flour
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, parsley, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Form mixture into small meatballs.
- Set Instant Pot to sauté mode and add olive oil.
- Brown meatballs in batches, then remove and set aside.
- Add beef broth to the pot, scraping up any bits from the bottom.
- Return meatballs to the pot and close the lid.
- Set to pressure cook for 10 minutes.
- Release pressure and remove the lid.
- In a bowl, mix sour cream and flour, then stir into the pot to thicken the sauce.
- Serve meatballs with sauce over noodles or rice.
Notes
- You can use all beef or all pork if preferred.
- Adjust seasoning to taste.
- Serve with lingonberry sauce for a traditional touch.
