Description

A quick and easy recipe for meatloaf made in an Instant Pot.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 egg
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, ketchup, egg, onion, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Mix until well combined.
  3. Form the mixture into a loaf shape.
  4. Place the meatloaf on a trivet in the Instant Pot.
  5. Add 1 cup of water to the pot.
  6. Close the lid and set to high pressure for 30 minutes.
  7. Once done, release the pressure and carefully remove the meatloaf.
  8. Optional: Brush additional ketchup on top and broil for 5 minutes.

Notes

  • Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
  • You can add vegetables to the meat mixture if desired.
  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
