Description

A quick and easy recipe for cherry cobbler made in an Instant Pot.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups fresh or frozen cherries
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Grease the Instant Pot insert.
  2. Combine cherries and sugar in a bowl.
  3. In another bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and milk.
  4. Add melted butter and vanilla extract to the flour mixture.
  5. Pour the cherry mixture into the pot.
  6. Pour the batter over the cherries.
  7. Close the lid and set to manual for 25 minutes.
  8. Allow to release pressure naturally for 10 minutes, then quick release any remaining pressure.
  9. Serve warm with ice cream if desired.

Notes

  • Use fresh or frozen cherries.
  • Adjust sweetness based on cherry tartness.
  • Can substitute butter with oil for a lighter version.
