Description

A classic combination of grilled cheese sandwich and tomato soup.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 slices of bread
  • 4 slices of cheese
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • 2 cups of tomato soup

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
  3. Place two slices of bread, buttered side down, on the skillet.
  4. Add cheese slices on top of the bread.
  5. Top with the remaining bread slices, buttered side up.
  6. Cook until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
  7. Flip and cook the other side until golden brown and cheese is melted.
  8. Heat the tomato soup in a saucepan until warm.
  9. Serve the grilled cheese with tomato soup on the side.
