Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of rice
  • 1 pound of chicken breast, diced
  • 1 cup of mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup of heavy cream
  • 2 cups of chicken broth
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Add the onion and garlic, sauté until translucent.
  3. Add the chicken and cook until browned.
  4. Add the mushrooms and cook until softened.
  5. Stir in the rice, then add the chicken broth and bring to a boil.
  6. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes.
  7. Stir in the heavy cream, season with salt and pepper, and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
