Description

These cinnamon sugar donut muffins are soft, fluffy, and coated in cinnamon sugar for a delightful treat.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar (for coating)
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon (for coating)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. In another bowl, whisk milk, oil, and egg.
  4. Combine wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.
  5. Fill muffin tins about 2/3 full with batter.
  6. Bake for 15-18 minutes until golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Meanwhile, mix sugar and cinnamon for coating.
  8. Let muffins cool for a few minutes, then brush with melted butter and roll in cinnamon sugar.
