Description

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs sweet potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Boil sweet potatoes in salted water until tender, about 15-20 minutes.
  2. Drain and return sweet potatoes to pot.
  3. In a small saucepan, melt butter over medium heat until it turns brown and nutty.
  4. Add brown butter and milk to sweet potatoes.
  5. Mash until smooth and creamy.
  6. Season with salt and pepper.
