Description

A hearty breakfast casserole combining biscuits, gravy, and hashbrowns.


Ingredients

  • 1 package refrigerated biscuits
  • 2 cups hashbrowns, thawed
  • 1 pound breakfast sausage
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the sausage in a skillet until browned.
  3. Remove sausage and drain excess fat.
  4. In the same skillet, add flour and cook for 1 minute.
  5. Slowly add milk while stirring until thickened.
  6. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  7. In a baking dish, layer hashbrowns, sausage, and biscuit pieces.
  8. Pour gravy over the top and sprinkle cheese.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
