- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp sweet chili sauce
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- 8 small flour tortillas
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix flour, cornstarch, paprika, cayenne, garlic powder, and salt.
- Dip shrimp in buttermilk, then coat with the flour mixture.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Fry shrimp until golden and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- In another bowl, combine mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, and lime juice.
- Toss cooked shrimp in the sauce until well coated.
- Warm tortillas in a separate skillet.
- Assemble tacos with shrimp, lettuce, tomatoes, and cilantro.
