Ingredients

  • 2 large onions, sliced into rings
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Slice the onions into rings and separate them.
  3. In a bowl, mix flour, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. In another bowl, beat the eggs.
  5. Place breadcrumbs in a third bowl.
  6. Dip each onion ring in the flour mixture, then the eggs, and finally in the breadcrumbs.
  7. Arrange the rings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Spray the rings lightly with cooking spray.
  9. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  10. Brush BBQ sauce on the rings and return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes.
